What Lattice Is, and What It Is Not

We would rather be precise than impressive. These statements apply to every page, result and export on the platform.

  1. 01

This is an educational and research platform.

Its purpose is to help builders understand and prepare for the post-quantum transition. It is not a security product.

  2. 02

It is not a security audit.

The readiness assessment scores self-reported answers against fixed rules. It does not inspect code, infrastructure or keys and cannot find vulnerabilities.

  3. 03

It does not guarantee quantum resistance.

Nothing here makes a wallet, an application or a blockchain quantum-safe. Application-level experiments do not change Solana's base-layer Ed25519 transaction authorization.

  4. 04

Playground results are real, not production-certified.

Every result comes from the open-source noble libraries and names its provider. Those libraries are built for auditability, but their use here has not been independently reviewed for production.

  5. 05

Production cryptographic use requires independent review.

The libraries used here are pure JavaScript and do not claim constant-time execution. Any production use of post-quantum cryptography needs reviewed implementations, side-channel analysis and protocol-level design.

  6. 06

Solana Devnet must be used for any blockchain experimentation.

Lattice never sends transactions or asks for a wallet connection. Your own experiments belong on Devnet, with disposable keys and no real funds.

Technical Notes

  • Accounts need no email or password. A workspace key carries your work to other devices; without one, clearing this browser's cookies disconnects saved work.
  • Benchmarks are wall-clock timings in whichever environment ran them and are not comparable across machines.
  • Falcon-512 follows the NIST Round 3 submission. Its standard, FN-DSA (FIPS 206), is still a draft and may not be byte-compatible.
  • X-Wing follows its IETF draft; ML-KEM, ML-DSA and SLH-DSA follow the final FIPS 203, 204 and 205.
  • Research content is reviewed by the Lattice team on the dates shown; it is not peer-reviewed.
